Special thanks to SAG-AFTRA.

Written and directed by Spike Lee, this 1994 film tells the story of a nine-year-old girl who lives in Bedford-Stuyvesant with her parents and four older brothers. It's a slice-of-life story that depicts Brooklyn in the 1970s, complete with kids getting in trouble, parents trying to make ends-meet and everyone in the neighborhood getting in their way. Crooklyn also boasts an amazing soundtrack composed completely of 70s music. And of course, Spike Lee makes a cameo.
